IRIS VESMAKI : WHY I SLUT SRAND

[Why I Slut Strand]: Umm hellooo friends!! My name is Iris (@irisvesamaki) and as an exception to the other gals I’m from southern Finland across the pond! 🇫🇮 Currently (barely) working on my bachelor’s thesis in economics and unpatiently waiting for my exchange studies in Innsbruck in the spring (hmu if you’ll be there too)!!! 🏔

No big mountains for me in my home country, but lucky to have had the opportunity to ski in the Alps a few times through the years. Might seem from the last pic that I’ve been a daredevil since the start but only a few years ago I would tear up on top of black runs and not know how to get down.. Quite the coming-of-age story over here since moving to Lapland as the pandemic started. The courage and love I’ve gained from and for skiing and other outdoor sports is currently what I burn for.

I slut strand because my badass cousin taught me that girls can shred just as hard as guys and that’s something I wanna spread forward! She (and skiing) got me v far on my journey of confidence and self love and I hope to have the same effect by showing femininity while doing what I do. And that’s why I’m so stoked to be a part of SSS even from afar!
