I grew up along the west coast of Canada where I spent a chunk of my time exploring the local mountains. I am currently studying Biomedical Physiology for my undergrad, and I hope to get out for a ski season in Japan before I graduate.

When I was 16, I landed a job at one of the hills in my area as a ski instructor. Just over 5 years later, still teaching, and my enthusiasm for the industry still remains at an all-time high. Over the years, I have been lucky to have met many sickkkk girls. Whether they have been ripping down the mountain since they were tots or if they’re just getting into the sport.

This past winter season, I got to help instruct the first ever youth girls freestyle camp at my local resort. It was exciting that these young gals were getting exposure to the park at young age. I understand the feeling of being nervous entering the park (or any sport in the matter) where there is a smaller female presence. It’s amazing to have a solid group around who are just as stokeddd on the outdoors as I am …. and SSS definitely contributes to that!!!

I slut strand because it adds a level of boldness. Two strands of hair shouldn’t negate my capabilities nor anyone’s else’s abilities. If it makes you feel hot and confident, go rep them
