AMIE ENGERBRETSON : WHY I SLUT STRAND

[Why I Slut Strand]: Hello fellow slut stranders! @amieski here, professional skier, dancer, expert hair whipper, cat lover and dog mom. I was raised in Tahoe, on the slopes of @palisadestahoe, with mountain love running in my veins. Growing up, my dad was a professional skier, and was then and is now my best friend and ski partner (love you @skicamguy) I may have been raised by a man but I was always surrounded by amazing women and was full of my own burning femininity. Throughout my life and carer I have sought to be the mentor that I didn’t always feel I had. When one boat rises, we all rise, and I think supporting and celebrating women is paramount!

I strand because I am constantly seeking to love and embrace all that I am. I am feminine, strong, stubborn, driven, determined, playful, silly and more! I also strand because I need the gawkers on the lift to have a way to know I am a chic since I am always ripping so hard ;) My latest project, Boots Over Brim is a true symbol of my growth and confidence in myself and my career. To bring something to life that is so different and so uniquely me is one of the coolest feelings of my life!
